Hello, I'm Toni. I always feel like a dork when I write one of these, but I'll try my best to entertain you as I go along. ;) I'm 22, just fresh out of university. I'll be graduating on March 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies. Funnily enough, I'm working as an assistant manager at a retail shop. In other words, yes, I don't know what to do with myself just yet.

I'm currently in a relationship with a guy named Chris. We met in Photography class and have been together for a little over three months. He's leaving to go back home to Germany in January to finish his degree, but plans on coming back later next year. So yep, I'll be pretty lonely from January until October! I do plan on visiting him around July though.

I'm originally from the Philippines, been living in New Zealand for 4 years now. I've got a muddled accent. Half-kiwi, half-somewhat-American-ish. That's what most people tell me anyway. I've always been curious as to what I'd sound like if I covered my ears and recorded myself talking. I'd probably sound like an idiot, more than anything. I know only Filipino and English, but slowly picking up German. Ja. Eine große tasse kaffe, bitta. No, I didn't call you stupid or fat, I just asked for one big cup of coffee. And I said thanks. Aren't I polite?

I love my books. I've been an avid reader since I was 5. The first book that I remember reading was a hard picture book of Little Red Riding Hood. It had photos of dolls posed as characters. My first paperback was when I was 6. It was Sweet Valley Kids. I quickly got bored of that and moved on to Goosebumps. While my friends were reading Sweet Valley Twins and Friends, I considered myself advanced since I had already gone through Sweet Valley High and was reading Sweet Valley University. My god, I was such a ridiculous child.

Aside from reading, I love hanging out with my friends, clubbing, chatting on the net, listening to music, watching movies and sitcoms like Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives. I got tired of Lost after the middle of season two. It became pointless after a while. I used to write a lot. I still love it. I just lost the inspiration, time and inclination. Hopefully I pick it up again some day.
